Registration, or use of the Kanvas products or services, signifies your agreement to the Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to Kanvas, LLC’s collection and use of personally identifying information (“Personal Information”) that we may gather when you visit our website, purchase, license, or use Kanvas products or services, or contact us.  By using Kanvas products or services, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, and use of your Personal Information according to this Privacy Policy.

User Information Collected
Once you register with Kanvas and sign-in to the Service, you are no longer anonymous to Kanvas.  Kanvas may collect name, company name, industry, number of employees, phone number, your title, city, state, country, zip/postal code, a user name, confirmed email address, and a password.  Data we collect may include a file, the filename, file information.  Kanvas may also collect your IP address, and other computer information, including browser type and operating system.

Please keep your password secure.

All users may opt to remove their personal information and data from the Kanvas systems.

Kanvas does not intentionally gather information about visitors who are under the age of 13.

Use of Information
Kanvas will use your personal information to respond to your requests for information, respond to process events, provide customer support, and troubleshoot problems.  We also use your information to notify you of service information, including updates, maintenance periods, and other service communications.

Kanvas may use your personal information to communicate with you about new products and services from Kanvas.

Kanvas will not provide unaffiliated third-parties with access to your email address or other contact information.  From time to time, Kanvas may share with you information about Kanvas or other products and services that we think will be of interest to you.  If you wish to change the types of communications you receive from Kanvas, we will always provide a manner to do so, whether it is through your account administration web pages, or through the email communication’s “unsubscribe’ capability.

Kanvas will not access or use your Personal Information (including data of files or images) unless Kanvas reasonably believes that it must do so in order to troubleshoot problems with the Kanvas products or services.

Kanvas may disclose your Personal Information to third parties if we believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with law, regulation, or government or judicial warrant, rule, or order; (2) protect and defend the rights of property of Kanvas; (3) enforce Kanvas Terms and Conditions of Use and/or this Privacy Policy; (4) sale of assets of Kanvas to a third-party, which requires the transfer of databases containing Personal Information.  Kanvas will provide access to your account to government authorities if Kanvas suspects that your account contains child pornography or other prohibited data, or that the data or the Kanvas products and services are being used for illegal purposes.

Protection of Information
Kanvas uses industry standard security practices to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of your Personal Information.  Personal Information is stored in secure facilities with restricted access to authorized personnel only.  Although we make all good faith efforts to protect and allow only authorized access to your stored data and Personal Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.  Kanvas encrypts files and data, where appropriate, using SSL or similar transmission encryption technologies, and industry standard data storage protection manners.  By using the Kanvas products and services, you understand that files and images stored by Kanvas being displayed in Kanvas sessions are being viewed by yourself and participants, and thus being disclosed.

How We Communicate with You
Kanvas may, from time to time, send you emails, desktop alerts, or other communications containing the following type of information: notifications of problems with our products or services; notice of account expiration; activity status reports, product or service upgrade notices, notices regarding new products from Kanvas; notices of Kanvas product or services price changes; notices of related products from third-parties that we feel will be of interest to you; notices of unlawful or inappropriate uses; notices requesting feedback regarding Kanvas products and services.
